Death to the living. Long life for the Killers.

Late on a Sunday morning, and I woke up to the new Yeah Yeah Yeahs disc, which I bought yesterday and have found quite enlivening. Aside from the usual murderous crap, I have been surprised by the fact that I had not read Dosto's Brothers Karamazov, and now that I am, I am quite pleased. All of these modifiers are retarded, they have no other place to go, I afford them a home. An act of prosaic philanthropy, taking in all of these not terribly appropriate qualifiers and modifiers, fumbling, these misplaced participles. A Grammarium, if you will. I am making less sense.

I have been rather negligent in updating, but I'd at least add something here, though I have not the inclination to write a full post. It has come to my attention that the paper on secularism I wrote not to long ago owed something in content, though I cannot say I did it wittingly, tothe work of the Jesuit theologian Gustave Weigel.

Most of his books are out of print and terribly unavailable, but as soon as I can get a hold of a few, perhaps through my in at the Brattle, I will report what I find.
